Hello out there,

I'm still trying to get my servers running smoothly on my Suse Linux
9.3 x64, but Iam unlucky until now.

My gameservers ran good for over a year now with hlds_amd64 binaries
(the last weeks with a patched hlds_run).
Now I made a verify_all, removed the tweaking netsettings in the
commandline/server.cfg and let the server run the hlds_amd binary.

If I turn off metamod/amxx, the cpu-peaks are getting lower (empty
server, cpu mostly @ 0% but peaks every ~30 seconds to ~95%/max).
With MM/AMXX (no 3rd party plugins) running, the peaks getting more
(every ~15s a peak). In both cases, the server lags for the
player(s): nearly one second freezetime every 15-30 seconds.
No pingboost activated, standard sys_ticrate.
Load average is all the time below 0.5 points.

I know, reinstalling the os to native 32bit would solve the problem,
but maybe the solution is more simple and someone can give me a hint?

Thank you in advance!

pl
