-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Ok Ronny... If you say so. But you still aren't listening to me. I am NOT having this lag problem. I am running FC5 with 2.6.20-hrt. Intel e6600 cpus / xeon 5050s / 5160s / 5335 All with intel boards and e1000 network adapters.
In the steam forums thread h3rb states... "Guys, with the new Kernel (Update to 2.6.20.3) it works Fine for me,the servers run now 13 hours and no restart and the servers full and no lag." There has been no update to this thread from him since. ( 12 hours ago. ) There are several others stating that they are not having this issue. It does seem that many of the people having problems are running Debian. I agree that this sounds like a new problem, and a big one, and valve should address it asap, but that does not change how it runs on our systems. I'm sorry that your taking offence to our attempts to help isolate the problem, and suggest work-around solutions. I will try not to do so in the future.
