hello,

i would like to ask why/if the programm steam for linux dont know the +ip
or -ip parameter?

why does I use that? : our machine have mostly more as one IP an the
steam-programm uses always the default ip to connect to world and the
general update resources of steam content... but the default ip is not
allready the ip that works fine or we want to have to traffic for update to
an special ip.
is it an great problem to make the programm steam in the condition to know
an parameter IP so I can use it like ? :
./steam -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir . -ip 84.16.241.66

thank you for support.

yours,
hardy
