Would the issues be down to linux itself or the just half life 2 deathmatch ? though i cant understand how valve keep missing these things out ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keeper" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 18, 2007 1:57 PM Subject: RE: [hlds_linux] Slow Crowbar
It's weird because no other weapons are affected like the crowbar. Looking at the SDK, it uses a simple method to calculate how quickly you can swing Ol' Red again. Yet there is a noticeable difference between Linux and Windows in the rate of "fire. The time between firings is supposed to be about 27 ticks on a 67 tick server. (0.4 seconds). So you should get about 2.5 swings per second. On the linux box, I get usually about 1.7 (0.6 seconds).
