I've been contacted by a few people myself via Steam Friends and Xfire, and plenty of others asking to "borrow" my account for a match, and other stupid things like that. People really need to wise up...tell your friends not to fall for any emails or messages like this...as most people on this mailing list probably are smart enough to avoid that. If it's an issue with Valve, make sure you're speaking with Valve and not some kid who just wants your account. If you get messages on Steam Friends asking for accounts I'd report them to Valve immediately to get their accounts removed and/or investigated.
