-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I posted this problem in other emails, but since they're getting swamped, I decided to make a separate email in hopes of getting a response.
I have updated one installation, and did two fresh installations of tf2's dedicated server. All three have been missing a crucial file, bin/datacache_i486.so. The file *does* install, however, it's completely blank with a filesize of 0 bytes. When I try to start srcds_run, I get the following message: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~/srcds/tf2 $ ./srcds_run Auto detecting CPU Using AMD Optimised binary. Auto-restarting the server on crash AppFramework : Unable to load module bin/datacache_i486.so! Unable to load interface VDataCache003 from bin/datacache_i486.so Fri Sep 21 18:44:46 EDT 2007: Server Quit [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~/srcds/tf2 $ I'm not sure what the problem is, but after four attempts at this point on various machines, I can't get it to load. I'll even just take the file if someone can mirrror it, assuming someone has a non-empty file. System specs: AMD Athlon64 X2 4200+ 1GB Dual Channel DDR400 Gentoo Linux 2007.0 on Linux Kernel 2.6.22-gentoo-r6 Any help would be greatly appreciated. I got a server setup specifically to host TF2, and right now it's just sitting there, doing nothing until I can get this installed and working... Cliffs: Server installed Server needs file to start, file is blank Server is up to date, been reinstalled on diff machines multiple times -tsuehpsyde SourceKills.com -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
