Always use ./srcds_run2 your server will now update itself. alex -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Im Auftrag von sting Gesendet: Samstag, 17. When I launch it from the orange box dir, I get: "steam" must be run from the directory it is installed in. You can ensure this by running: "./steam" from its installation directory. That is by starting srcds_run from the orangebox folder. I created a symbolic link from this folder to the steam binary in the parent folder but same deal. The server still works of course but it doesn't seem to auto-update (despite specifying auto update as flag). How are you supposed to properly start the server? It is indeed supposed to be from the orangebox folder... so is everyone else also experiencing this problem and that's just the deal for now?
