When someone gets a CRC error they don't know how to fix it. Please make the game ask if they want to delete the file and download a new copy.
My ISP is having web server problems related to an upgrade to more disk space. As a result the sv_downloadurl is not working. The ISP gives a fake file in place of a 404 error (file not found). This fake file fools the game into thinking it downloaded the bsp file. Then the CRC fails. The user does not know how to correct this. Even if you tell them to delete the bad file. Most users are not geeks, just kids trying to play. After the URL is back on-line the game does not attempt to download a new copy of the file. It just gives a CRC error and disconnects.
