This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Recently I've been having trouble with changing the rcon password on tf2 servers. I can do it fine using KKRcon (a version that works with source) - http://sourceforge.net/projects/kkrcon and vrcon - http://www.vrcon.com/
I set the rcon_password right, and send a command like "rcon_password blah". Usually it'd get a response along the lines of this: rcon from "xxx.xx.xx.xx:xxxxx": command "rcon_password blah" and everything is fine. (this is on a css server) Doing the same thing on a tf2 server sends the command and it's still executed on the server (ie the rcon_password does change), but the server either gets no response, or this (from kkrcon) bad rcon_password The rcon password is fine, and everything is working fine, it's just the result that I get from the query that's wrong. Has anyone else had similar problems or any idea how to work around this? Have I just missed something out? Cheers, James -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
