I don't know if this is really a good place to post this but there are a lot
more techies on here then on the Steam forums J

I've been playing CS and CS:CZ for about 4 years now and never had really
bad issues with bullet registration etc. but now I have. I have problems
with the bullet reg in CS:CZ for ages now (after the big steam friends
update I think). Let me give you a bit background info:

CS 1.6 runs fine and on a decent (boosted?) server I can play like I
normally would and I'm able to hit people very good. When I switch over to
CS:CZ the whole game feels like a big sponge. A great percentage of my fired
bullets seem not to register while other players kill me with only a few
bullets as I can do on CS 1.6. Also my guns appear to shoot slower than
normal. It's becoming a bloody nightmare as I play CZ competitively. I have
exactly the same config settings on CZ as I have on CS.

I have an Intel E6850 (Dualcore 2x 3Ghz) with 4 GB of ram and a GeForce 8600
GTS all plumbed into an Asus P5K-E motherboard. My PC is hooked up to a
Linksys router which is connected to the Dutch DSL network. I have 3072 kbit
downloadspeed and 700something kbit upload speed. (I do live ~3 km's from
the connection point where all house's are interconnected.)

My netcode settings are:

Rate 20000 (Everything above 20k is useless so I have been told)

Cl_updaterate 101

Cl_cmdrate 106

Ex_interp 0.01 (or 0.1 but that makes no difference to my problem)

Cl_resend 2 (default)

Cl_cmdbackup 2 (default)

Cl_rate 9999 (default)

I normally get a constant 100 fps and sometimes a bit of choke <10.

I'm really lost here and don't really don't know what to do about this. All
suggestions are welcome ;-)

Met vriendelijke groet,

With Kind Regards,

Bento de Gier
