We had 4 100 tick 13 slot warserver assigned to a dedicated core on a Dell PowerEdge with a 2.4Ghz Quadcore xeon and 4 GB of ram. It lagged like hell. Removing the taskset fixed the problem.

I use it all the time. I use a Xeon 2.33GHz quad core system and can run 4 32 player instances flawlessly at 500fps when they are placed individually on each core. (No changes in priority either). Sharing a core with 2 srcds instances is not so much fun though. The server FPS jump all over the place. -Dom On Tue, 2008-05-20 at 09:29 -0600, Chris Brunelle wrote: > Have you guys noticed any difference in fps/tickrate fluctuation or > consistency if you assign srcds to one specific cpu (taskset)?
