Hey guys,

Was hoping someone can provide some helpful hints/tips with a problem I am
having. On server 1 I have a Intel Xeon 2.4, 1GB RAM, CentOS 4.6 (kernel
2.6.9-55.0.6) that runs one 20-slot CS:S server. This server does not lag
or choke at all.

I also have server 2 in the same datacenter/network that is a AMD Opteron
242, 4GB RAM, SCSI drives, CentOS 3.9 (kernel 2.6.19.1) running a 16-slot
CS:S server and 20-slot CS:S GunGame server. Even with 2-3 people on one
of the gameservers choke starts rising and it gets really jumpy. I have
this much RAM free:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] [/home/admin]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 3992 1537 2455 0 54 1269
-/+ buffers/cache: 212 3779
Swap: 2047 0 2047

Load is usually at or around 0.00 when this occurs. No errors with my NIC
card. My rates are as follows:

// bandwidth rates/settings
sv_minrate 3000
sv_maxrate 30000
decalfrequency 60
sv_maxupdaterate 66
sv_minupdaterate 30
sv_mincmdrate 33
sv_maxcmdrate 101

My start lines to start the gameservers are:

srcds_run -console +ip x.x.x.x -port 27015 +maxplayers 20 -tickrate 100
+fps_max 300 +exec server.cfg +map gg_aim_shotty

srcds_run -console +ip x.x.x.x -port 27015 +maxplayers 16 -tickrate 100
+fps_max 300 +exec server.cfg +map de_dust2

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? Note
that there are no other services (ie. MySQL, Apache/etc) running on these
servers, they are dedicated strictly to srcds.

Thanks in advance.
