Now that I've solved the Source voice communication issue, I'm giving this a bump because I still haven't figured this one out. Even if I remove all the voice communication cvars, voice communication volume is super low on all my hlds mods. It is clear, the quality is good, but it is low, and it didn't used to be that way.
I guess I'm back to wondering if there might be a problem with a library, and I'm wondering why no one else seems to have this problem. I've Googled it to death and haven't found anyone else who seems to have the same problem. How many server ops out there are using Debian Etch? Could a problem like this be the result of a driver issue?
