Statsme was abandoned several years ago. AMX Mod X does everything that you could do with AdminMod/Statsme, and more, and it is still under active development. It really is time to upgrade if you are still using that combo.
I don't know of any security vulnerabilities in Statsme or AdminMod, but really, running software like that that is no longer being developed, you are just asking for trouble.
