(By "working directory" I mean whatever you call the equivalent in linux of the
working directory in Windows)
How are you supposed to start TF2 since the latest change to srcds_run? What
does the script expect the working directory to be, and what are you supposed
to put for the -game parameter? Before, I just put a pushd .. and popd around
the call to updatesingle in the update() part of the script and ran it with
orangebox as the working directory, but now the script seems to expect to be
run with "orangebox" as the gametype, in which case it adds a parameter to the
front of the call to steam to update from the proper root. Wouldn't it make
more sense to have the check for gametypes happen in the same folder as the
script rather than the working directory and then when calling update just
execute one folder up regardless, or hardcode into the root folder srcds_run a
gametype depot for the orangebox or left4dead folders when checking for those
games based upon those bases (TF2, DODS and Gmod make the depot orangebox and
l4d makes the depot left4dead)?
