Have a look at TF2 Blog, there are some of the things described about 
how they bring up new features to that game. Similiar process should

As a side note, i'm afraid that this timeout bug has been moved to L4D 
too. Sometimes after completing a level, the timeout occurs or loading a 
level takes forever (like 1 minute) or it never will load to the end. 
First i thought its occurs only on modded servers but since then, it has 
happened on 2 vanilla ones too.
