There's potentially ways to see it from the server tags. For example, on our server, every time I turn on alltalk and it gets auto-added to the tags, the chat shows "sv_tags changed to grp:<our group id>". The last tag in the list doesn't show, so I'm assuming it's supposed to be hidden but someone at Valve screwed up with the logic behind which tags get hidden.
You can also guess it, obviously, and I'm guessing there's probably ways to pull it from public information about the group.
