I run TF2 in a screen session. Lets me get at the console easily, and I can have screen log everything that shows up when TF2 is running in the console even when TF2 doesn't write log files properly.
Has let me find out about a couple of crashes in the past that TF2 wasn't logging. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Carl Sent: Tuesday, July 28, 2009 5:12 PM To: Half-Life dedicated Linux server mailing list Subject: [hlds_linux] How to find the cause of Segfaults A script kid has been crashing my server recently with no logs on my part for me to parse. The server segfaults and then there is no log output to see what the cause was. Is there a way to see what the server was thinking just before it crashed? Say, all the commands a client just sent to the server? P.S. its not the popular rcon crash. _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
