You missed a point. They are coming from the same IP address. But different computers. When 2 computers are behind a NAT router, the server only sees 1 IP address. Somehow the NAT router must make the server happy. I assume the NAT router maps 2 different outgoing ports in this case. But I don't really know. I am assuming that some routers don't do it correctly.
