Hey, As far as I can see, the problem is related the Orangebox Source Engine update. I restored the previous version of orangebox/bin folder and the server is now starting. So there must be something in there. However, I don't know if you can connect the server running the yesterday engine version.
For information, I am running debian Squeeze, libc6 2.10 on Intel Quadcore. Cheers, Marc.
