Hi, I am running a dod server on my old laptop (Thinkpad T23) under Ubuntu. The server has been running fine until last Saturday 13.3.2010, when I got this message:
Illegal instruction (core dumped) BFD: Warning: /home/jan/server/hlds2/core is truncated: expected core file size >= 70746112, found: 1105920. Failed to read a valid object file image from memory. I copied my backup version of hlds to the server and tried to run it but the same thing happened. Even when I reinstalled the server it happened.
