Hey everyone, just got my first server. Everything's been working perfectly... except for SourceTV. When I launch the server, in the command line, I specify the maxplayers at 24. I also specify tv_enable to 1 and related tv cvars, which allow the SourceTV bot to start and sit in spectator.
The first problem it causes is an incorrect player count. Take a look at this screenshot: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6484779/pics/serverproblem.png. As you can see, the server browser shows an incorrect value. When I took the screenshot, I had sourcemod's reserved slot plugin enabled (just one slot). With it (the sourcemod plugin) disabled, the player count on the server browser showed 0/24, while the server info window reported 1/25. So that wasn't the cause... The second problem is worse since it prevents me from doing other debugging while it happens. I haven't confirmed this with any other map, but when the SourceTV bot is active on cp_granary, the server console is spammed with this message: DataTable warning: player: Out-of-range value (359.000000) in SendPropFloat 'm_angEyeAngles[0]', clamping. The damning evidence is when I kick the SourceTV bot, the errors immediately stop. I don't see how anything else can cause this problem... Anyone else have these problems? -- whiplash _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
