Hello, I updated CS:S and now it keeps crashing. The server starts up and players start joining very quickly, and then it suddenly crashes with this output:
PreMinidumpCallback: updating dump comment Uploading dump (in-process) [proxy ''] /tmp/dumps/6d1d12fe-b05e-4ce4-7cc63aff-721e71db.dmp Failed to send http request to http://crash.steampowered.com/submit, error: Failed to open/read local data from file/application success = no error: Failed to open/read local data from file/application ./srcds_run: line 342: 6897 Segmentation fault (core dumped) $HL_CMD cat: hlds.6877.pid: No such file or directory email debug.log to [email protected] Wed Jun 23 16:57:45 EDT 2010: Server restart in 10 seconds Then it will restart and go through the same cycle all over again. I haven't seen any one thing happening consistently before the crashes, so it appears to be pretty random. I lowered the max number of players from 24 to 16, and then to 8, but it still happens. Any ideas? Also, I'm not able to use -autoupdate. When I use the -autoupdate option, it creates an orangebox folder within the existing orangebox folder and starts downloading a whole new copy of the game into that folder. - Dave -- Dave Parker Systems Administrator Utica College Integrated Information Technology Services (315) 792-3229 Registered Linux User #408177 _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
