I have a Hetzner EQ4 myself, best host I've ever been with. However you have to keep in mind that gameservers are not their primary concern; they do not (even try to) offer the best pings for players. They optimize for stability, not low-latency like some specialized gameserver hosts do. Their customer forums have a gameserver section though, and an English section too, so it's not like you don't have anywhere to go with gameserver related questions. > How many players could it serve on Counter Strike Source? Quite a lot... well, you won't find a more powerful server anyway, not at that price. > Would +4GB ram help? Or is it probably cpu limited? 8GB is plenty for gameservers, usually. If you plan on overloading the server, i.e. putting more gameservers on it than it can actually hold, under the assumption that not all servers will be full at all times, then you might need extra RAM since empty servers use RAM too. But instead of spending the extra money for RAM, I'd rather just get another EQ4. It quite simply gives you the most bang for the buck.
