All, In the end together with some helpfull people from irc this issue is resolved.
For some odd reason the updater doesn't download the models of the demo for the demo_kabuto_model. Go wear that had samur-eye (or the genuine) and if it crashes your server then you might be missing those files. I also did a verify_all on a clean install and still these files are not present.
