Thank you for your response, Michael. nc works flawlessly, but I failed at making the two scripts together.
Is there a way to do such (pararelly outputting NC while getting user input) in Bash. I don't know python very well. I don't want to ask you to do the code for me, but can you help me with some google keywords to get this rolling? I appreciate your help with grate owe.
