Are you planning on enabling it sporadically or leaving it on all the time?

I ran STV on my pub server with autorecord on for about a month as a
way to check up on cheater/griefer complaints we got. No spectators
though, it was strictly recording to the hard drive. Memory usage was
excessive due to known memory leaks. Within maybe 4 hours of play on
a full server memory usage would go over 1GB and usually hover around
1.2GB. I've since disabled it to keep memory usage more sane. Can't
say I noticed any CPU increase, though I'm sure there is some.

I'm setting up a competition server which requires STV to be enabled (it will only be on at certain times), but considered enabling it on my 24/7 servers (without recording to disk, I already have replay enabled), just for fun, and to be able to spec some matches.

But if there are memoryleaks when broadcasting STV, then I will not enable it.
