You and I have an entirely different idea of what constitutes an event. To me, an event is some special activity the people on my server arranged. For instance, we regularly switch one of our servers over to either Prop Hunt or Vs. Saxton Hale. Around Halloween, we have one server running nothing but Halloween maps. We schedule these via our Steam group so our regulars know when they're going to happen.
Oh, and none of these have any sort of entrance fee; they're just there so we can have fun. And these changes have no effect on this.
