It's not just html blocks that are causing issues... for example if the page is on https (ssl) that can be a cause too... I was just asking if there's something planned to get it working or at least not crashing the clients...
It would be ok if it failed with a generic error... but crashing the whole client with the subsequent process dump and submission to microsoft seems really an extreme condition :D Il 28/04/2012 20:17, Michael Johansen ha scritto: > Read the previous threads, remove blocks of the HTML until you get no crashes. > > >> Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2012 20:15:21 +0200 >> From: e...@evcz.tk >> To: hlds_linux@list.valvesoftware.com >> Subject: [hlds_linux] motd crashing the TF2 client >> >> Hi, >> >> we are getting specific motd pages that are crashing the client with no >> error... >> >> Ho can we debug the motd to see where is the problem? >> (motd.txt contains just an URL and the URL is an html page) >> _______________________________________________ >> To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, >> please visit: >> https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux > > _______________________________________________ > To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please > visit: > https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
