If you only want to save same space then use symlinks for some folders. For
example $SERVER_HOME/hl2 has 1.3G, $SERVER_HOME/orangebox/tf/maps has 2.6G,
$SERVER_HOME/orangebox/tf/models has 0.5G and
$SERVER_HOME/orangebox/tf/sound has 1.3G.

Is also possible to start multiple instances using same installation, but it
works as long as the servers are similar (clan war servers for example). Use
something like:

./srcds_run -game tf -debug -nobreakpad \
        +ip 10.20.30.40 -port 27015 +clientport 27005 +tv_port 27020
-strictportbind \
        +map cp_dustbowl +maxplayers 24 \
        +sv_logsdir logs_srv1 +log on +servercfgfile server_srv1.cfg \
        +motdfile motd_srv1.txt +motdfile_text motd_text_srv1.txt \
        -replay replay_srv1.cfg -replayserverdir replay_srv1 \
        +sm_basepath addons/sourcemod/srv1

Observations:

a. You can't specify the folder where STV demos are saved.
b. You can't customize the location/name for sourcemod.cfg, banned_ip.cfg
and banned_user.cfg.
c. I don't know how servers handle the access to few other files/folders:
DownloadLists, downloads, modelsounds.cache, stats.txt etc...

Hello everyone!

I have some kind servers under Debian with TF2 and I want optimize
disk space for all of them. For example, one server data (files) from
steam and some kind running game instances on it.
Is there any tools or any tips how I can achieve this?
