What I find sad about this particular event, is that I am not even trying to participate in any of this MvM crap. I have no interest in it at all. I also have no interest in any of the match-making crap either - and am not trying to participate in that at all either. That's my own real complaint. Beyond that, "its a game, get over it" I am generally/mostly/usually Ok with.
I really do hate this whole mailing-list format for discussions too. I find it confusing to read through, and the formatting on everything seems gets really weird further into the threads - making it hard to read. Consequently, as far as those other "400+" messages that had been mentioned (probably a slight exaggeration) ... I read maybe half a dozen. I wish this was via some forum-type system. I'd settle for a Steam Community forum.
