Tbh, each recording has their own downsides/limits. I wouldn't care if they
threw it
all out, and just gave full frames on a separate (delayed) stream to a
client "recording" and that the client then can combine the 2, and all
the downsides ( viewpoints of players, huds, smoothing, freedom of
movement etc) are been overcome.  I love to record, but I want in occasions to
smooth and be able too see myself from somewhere, but often the replay is
broken
once downloaded, or its about a kill that isn't really good visible, so a kill
feed is needed etc.

Having a server replay a game, and be able to record it client side again from
different perspectives would at least negate some.

And who's idea was it to make it with replay to have to put in a name, I
want just when I press that button to record it with a date/time. Not
another delay, for often when you do want to record a replay, you have
to be quick, or once re-spawned you cannot take that record anymore....
for one has to type a letter FIRST.  Missed a good chance on that. Or wanted to
record some on the background that happens while you die... never can finish
that up (not even with a normal demo).

And my most dear one, P-REC record tool, has been gone, after also removing the
"record all games" option.
