Yeah this is the first time I've seen the message.
The rotationreplays folder corresponds to one server. I have 2 other
folders that separate servers are dumping replays to.

For what it's worth, I got this same error while was running my servers,
but only once. I assumed it was just some ultra-rare hiccup because that's
what Valve games do instead of working all the time.
But I have to point out - '/home/tf2server/www/**rotationreplays/20120901-**
164637-pl_barnblitz.dmx' - this doesn't exactly look like a
server-specific replay directory, that looks more like a dump point for all
replays. Are you sure your config is correct?

Yes, but they all publish to different directories.

Do you have multiple servers stacked on one machine, all using local
http publishing of replays? That might explain how the target file
could already exist.

Thankfully it didn't kill the server like remote ftp publishing errors do
(or did, was this ever fixed?). Replay recording just ceased for the
remainder of the round.
