Capture The Prize is not a lottery. If i were charging players to join or win,
then yes it would be a lottery. But im not, so its a contest.
Yes servers can run their own contest, but they can be a pain to track and they
have to provide the prizes themselves. With this contest server hosts just sign
up and thats it. What sets this contest apart from a gaming community running
its own contest is that server hosts can now win prizes too (by referring players).
The only locations that cannot participate are Puerto Rico and the Province of
Quebec (in Canada).
As for the multiple name issue, the first matched name gets points. So if
multiple players are using the same name, then only the first player will get
points. Multiple players with the same name in the same server are low so this
won't be an issue for most players.
I've already changed all the documentation on the website with all the new
changes. They have no yet been implemented yet, when they are i will announce
on site.
