I know you need this for it to run on linux, though if you are using
wine it is all up in the air.
apt-get install lib32gcc1 ia32-libs
(This is coming from tf2)

Sometimes the portability between distributions is caused by the
compiler
of C they use when compiling.
I think it has something to do with that.
So you would have to install certain C library that runs binaries
compiled
for that library.
