Yeah, I think Valve should've added something like echo "This server is not being updated anymore." echo "Download newer versions using SteamCMD:" echo "https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD"; exit 1 at the beginning of hlds_run, so that nostalgic admins can simply delete these lines and continue running the old server, and everybody else is alerted to the fact that moving might be necessary.
