Correction to my previous statement: I did not inquire regarding Linux distro's for dedicated servers on this mailing list, and it was not Eric that responded. It was a Issue/ticket in the Git-Hub (#163 for the "halflife" Git-Humb), and it was Alfred that responded.

Of course, some of that was the CentOS-5 was getting kind of long in the tooth. Going from CentOS-5 to CentOS-6 might have helped some. But, since I was changing OS's anyway, I decided to get closer to what Valve users. Which is why in inquired (on this list) as to what they use for testing. >From what I recall, somebody (Eric?) mentioned they tested dedicated servers on Debian. So, that made up my mind for me. I haven't encountered any distro-specific issues since (including none right now). - Weasel ___________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
