I'm running 2 instances on the same machine, both are as vanilla as can be, one is PvP and has no connection to the backend, the other is an MvM server which has no problems. I just played 2 MvM maps on it and had access to my loadout the whole time while the other instance had the connection issue. Feel free to ask me for additional details if you need them.
