Hi everyone.

I got connection issues since the last few days between my servers hosted at Online.net datacenter, and the SteamCMD server files download servers
.
Every time I start an update, the download starts and then instantly slows down to the point the download does not progress at all, and finish with the following error (it is the same with all the game servers I host)
Error! App '740' state is 0x402 after update job.
If I start update process again, it starts nearly where it failed, and continue the update process the same way (fail after a few minutes with only low progress) I tried on two different servers, I fully wiped one of them and installed a new OS version (something I now regret because I can not install server files anymore), and the problem is still the same: right after the download is starting, it stalls and fails after a few minutes, with only 1% or 2% progress.

*One weird thing is that with a fresh SteamCMD install, there is absolutely no problem to download SteamCMD updates before it starts the update procedure, it goes fast and with no error everytime, but it is only when the download part (of server files) is starting that it fails.*

Online.net support replied to me that with the test results I sent them and the investigation they have done, the problem is on Valve's end, and only a test from Valve's side can find what's going on.

Here are my two servers IP address 62.210.178.64 and 195.154.73.238. If someone at Valve can investigate and run some network tests with my IPs that would be great and maybe we can find a solution to this problem.

I host lot of servers and I can not upload files whenever an update is coming. On a side note downloading server files from my ISP run smoothly with no error. I host servers since long years now and I'm pretty sure it is a network/routing problem, but I can only trust my provider support team,*and my only solution is to have someone who can run some test from Valve's side*.

I'm available any time to bring anything Valve's people need to investigate.

I hope someone will be able to help. I'm waiting for replies from Valve.


PS: I tried with the classic Steam support but only answers I got were "go to the discussion board we do not do support for servers" so this mailing list is the last solution I found to have some help.
