I have faithfully followed your notes but have a few questions and
seem to have run into a snag.
1.Chap5-linux-libc-headers are replaced with the kernel
linux-2.6.16.18 code y/n
2.Chap6-again linux-2.6.16.18 header code replaces llh-2.6.12 and you
use 2.6.12 patches against 2.6.16.18 y/n
3.Chap6 - you want the 'sanitized headers' installed at the end of
glibc-2.4
The questions seem elementary and I assumed a 'y' all questions.
The snag I ran into is with inetutils, I get an error in ttymsg.c
with 'invalid lvalue'. I reviewed all my mods twice and am still
scratching my head. (I an using a a jhalfs script of 20060510 hand
patched with your notes.)
