I don't know what it could be. You shouldn't need libintl.a with Glibc, it's already built into Glibc. Try removing and unpacking the sources again. Also double check you're linking to /tools/lib.
The quickest work-around is --disable-nls for the toolchain. robert On Thursday August 30 2007 11:18:02 pm JSAM Direct Support wrote: > I am using the package from the hlfs handbook, binutils-2.17. > > > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: gcc: ./../intl/libintl.a: No such file or directory > From: Robert Connolly <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Thu, August 30, 2007 9:59 pm > To: Hardened LFS Development List <[email protected]> > > Are you using gnu binutils, or hjl binutils? > > robert > > On Thursday August 30 2007 10:28:26 pm JSAM Direct Support wrote: > > I am trying to install HLFS and am getting stuck on the cocoon-build.
