checking my binaries with checksec.sh i found that the gettext bins /usr/bin/msg* are all missing stack protector. Does this apply to someone else? I looked at the compile commands of gettext and there seems to be no reason why gcc does not add ssp. even explicitly adding -fstack-protector-all does not help.
