Two comments, which probably are very off topic on this list, but I
think you know how/where to route them:
* Please use em/pt for sizes. I know it's more of a challenge to get it
right, but the site will scale perfectly. This is important for people
with disabilities; zooming doesn't help if everything still should fit
in the same fixed-pixel-width bar.
* Real high resolution screens (ie 95 dpi and higher) are getting more
popular, but aren't full-scale deployed yet. With Windows (and also
GNOME) are fixed on 96 DPI fonts while the screen hasn't got that res,
fonts are always (too) large for most people, so it's popular to set:
body { font-size: 80%; }
However, for people with the high res screens and the display configuration
set up properly, this is very annoying. I have 100dpi with 8pt fonts
(yes, 8-10pt is actually normal, not 11-13pt). This makes the main
font size of a page 6.4pt for me, and that is already small. Let
alone when even relative smaller fonts are used with respect to the
main body font (footnotes etc.).
Sorry, a bit of frustration about really bad websites (not like this
one) may have slipped in there. :)
Thank the team for the beautiful page for me,
Greetings,
Paul
