Attached please find a preliminary patch to the RSS output module. It allows
you to tweak your RSS feed by specifying the following parameters in
hobix.yaml:
- hobix/out/rss:
namespaces:
creativeCommons: http://backend.userland.com/creativeCommonsRssModule
elements:
creativeCommons:license:
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.0/
summary-only: true
more: "Read full post..."
comment-anchor: "comments"
You can add additional namespaces and elements via the 'namespaces' and
'elements' tags. Good if you want to add Creative Commons tagging, as above.
You can restrict publication to summaries for articles that have summaries with
the 'summary-only' tag. Good if you're rebroadcast as an LJ feed and don't want
to clutter people's friends list with huge posts. If you specify a 'more', the
bottom of the summary will feature a link back to the full article.
You can add a comment link to entries with "comment-anchor", which will be
interpreted as an anchor name within the entry link.
