Whoops, sorry about that. I took kind of a circuitous route to getting my blog working in IE. I had kind of smooshed together the Hobix theme and another one, and _after that_ is when changing the entry padding worked for me. I had assumed it would work on a stock site.css as well. But as you correctly point out, it doesn't. Fortunately, I was able to get the stock one to work after a bit of fiddling. In the rule for #blog, changing the padding rule to "padding:20px 2px 20px 2px;" worked for me. (If we're going to use this in the real thing, I'd recommend hiding it behind some kind of browser hack, so we don't change anything for Firefox/Safari/Opera.) If anyone is morbidly curious about the wrong-headed, complicated way involving smooshing two themes together and removing stuff until IE stops breaking, see here: http://www.ian.dees.name/site.css. --Ian _______________________________________________ Hobix-is-the-way mailing list [email protected] http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/hobix-is-the-way
