There should be. If you look in the agile tutorial "contributor" gets
added to the ProjectMembership model.
fields do
contributor :boolean
timestamps
end
Then the sidebar of the projects show template gets:
<editor:contributor/>
This isn't spelled out but I found that this works and creates an
inplace editor checkbox on the page, see where it is placed below
<show-page>

<h2>Project Members</h2>

That causes a checkbox to show up next to the project members in the
list.
You should be able to use this method to do what you want, but I ran
into a problem only booleans work with the inplace editor, this has
got to be a bug because I have seen in place editors for other data
types in previous versions of hobo.
Here is the error that happens:

I'll bet a cure for this will show up fairly soon :)
