I'm writing a more detailed DRYML guide now, that will cover all of these, but, in brief
> merge, merge-attributes, merge-params These allow you to forward attributes and parameters from the tag being defined, to any other tag. "merge" is just a shorthand for having both "merge-attrs" and "merge-params". The common use is when extending a tag: <extend tag="foo"> <old-foo merge>...</old-foo> </extend> Now the new definition of <foo> will support all the attributes and parameters that the old one did. > for-type, This is for calling a specific polymorphic variant of a tag, as opposed to selecting the tag to call based on the type of "this". This is going to be deprecated. Um. Maybe : ) > restore Used in conjunction with replace to allow you to wrap a parameter in some tag, e.g. <my-tag> <my-param: replace><h1><my-param restore/></h1></my-param:> </my-tag> > part, part-locals. Part I think you know? part-locals is a way to capture some current state so that it is available as local variables during ajax updates of the part. Hmmm that needs better explanation when I come to document it properly (making progress on docs now!)
