Hello fellow Hobo addicts ;-)

Hobo automagically generate files related to Rapid in app/views/
taglibs/auto. I think that's a severe mistake. This requires that I
make these writeable in an otherwise read only app folder.

It's a good tradition to create auto generated files in a separate
area of the file system. In fact that's what the tmp folder is for.

app, config, db*, doc, lib, public, script, test, vendor must be read
only for the web server. Otherwise our rails/hobo application are
easily hackable.

log and tmp must be web server writeable.

If you don't want to clutter tmp consider a new foler like "var".

Regards,

Gert Thiel

* storing SQLite files in db is a bad habit. Luckily most production
systems use a separate RDBMS
