You are very welcome, when I first started out with hobo it took quite a while to get the hang of it. Didn't help that I wasn't experienced with ruby or rails either. I deploy on linux and develop in XP so if you run into any mac specific stuff I might not able to help.
When I run into problems that are holding me back I completely uninstall ruby. Then reinstall ruby rails and everything else that is needed.
