Tom, you rock. Seriously! This lifecycle stuff is just awesome. I had to lol when I read the section on defining transitions where you said you chose a hash syntax because you liked the arrow connecting the "from" and "to" states, because that had actually entered my mind as I was first reading the example. I was thinking "it's so kewl that the transition is indicated by AN ARROW pointing in the direction your model lifecycle is going! I wonder if Tom made the option a hash just so there would be an arrow? No, that would be silly!"
